Dorking Halls own resident, award-winning youth theatre company are recruiting! We’re pleased to announce that we have some places available, and will extend a very warm welcome to new members.
AYTCO is a fantastic way for young people from age 8 to 18 years to build their self-confidence and communication skills in a friendly and sociable environment. We’re happy to offer all prospective recruits the opportunity to come along for a free trial ‘discovery’ session – no audition is required.
AYTCO meet here at Dorking Halls each Sunday to rehearse our various productions. We’ve been running since January 2005, and have produced a string of colourful musicals performed on the stage of the Grand Hall, and a succession of imaginative drama productions which have brought awards and nominations at various competitive drama festivals around the region, including Leatherhead and Woking. For the 4th consecutive year, AYTCO won the ‘best youth play’ award at the Woking Drama Festival in October 2023 with their production of Oscar Wilde’s controversial biblical tragedy Salomé.

AYTCO present their annual variety spectacular which this year has holidays in mind.
An ocean of song, dance and musical theatre – Summer Holiday is the perfect package of fun to mark the first Saturday of June.

Congratulations to all our members for two fantastic performances of our annual musical The Wind in the Willows in the Grand Hall back in January.
AYTCO members are a friendly bunch, and new members soon settle in to the fun. If you’re interested in joining us, we’re open to young people from aged 8 to 18 years, and don’t forget… there is no need to audition. We hope to see you for your free trial ‘discovery’ session!
