Tales Of The Underworld - Film Screening
Tales of the Underworld is an independent British crime thriller from local Surrey filmmakers Scruffy Bear Media.
This special screening will be followed by a Q&A with director Darren S Cook and producer Nicky Hagan, presenting a unique opportunity to understand more about the filmmaking process; what it takes to get an independent film released, and any of the behind the scenes insights you’ve always been dying to ask about. There’ll also be a fun photo opportunity with a special backdrop, the clapperboard from the film set and even a couple of the film props!
The prequel to the National Film Award-winning ‘Lucas and Albert’, Tales of the Underworld is a British crime thriller told through the eyes of a journalist digging too deep, exposing a ruthless criminal empire where missing men, police informants, and shifting loyalties make survival a dangerous game.
The film features Ian Burfield (Coronation Street, Hijack), Oliver Cotton (The Last Duel, Killing Eve), Brendan Gibson (Peaky Blinders, Mr Selfridge), Michael McKell (Ride or Die, Doctors) and Kim Taylforth (The Bill, London's Burning).
