Wild Women Live
What does it take to stand metres from a tiger, dive with sharks, camp in predator territory, or film in some of the planet's most unforgiving environments?
Step into an unforgettable evening with the extraordinary women behind some of the world's most-loved wildlife documentaries across the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky, Discovery and National Geographic.
Join presenters, filmmakers, camera operators, and storytellers for a truly unique evening of inspiring, witty, moving and breathtaking stories from the frontline of wildlife filmmaking.
Featuring Michaela Strachan (The Really Wild Show, Countryfile, Springwatch, Extreme Conservation); Anna Dimitriadis (Big Cats 24/7 and Tiger Island); Megan McCubbin (Springwatch and Animal Park); and Naomi Wilkinson (Naomi’s Nightmares of Nature and Live ‘n’ Deadly).
These remarkable women have trekked through sweltering, insect-filled jungles, scaled frozen Arctic cliffs, dived alongside sharks, and come face to face with some of the planet’s most awe-inspiring animals. Many have also dedicated their careers to revealing the beauty and drama of Britain's own wildlife, bringing the very best of our natural world to our screens with the same passion, skill, and patience.
Discover the challenges, triumphs, and unforgettable moments behind the camera as they reveal what it really takes to bring the natural world to life on screen.
Whether you’re passionate about wildlife, fascinated by adventure, or simply love the stories behind great television, Wild Women Live is a celebration of the remarkable women who risk it all to share the beauty, drama, and wonder of our planet.
