The opening concert of the main Festival on Thursday 15th April combines the Baroque excitement of Handel's Coronation Anthem The King shall Rejoice with the Classical elegance of Schubert's tuneful Mass in C. The programme also includes music by a living composer, in Cecilia McDowall's delightful Ave Maris Stella. Cecilia will be the special guest that evening.
